Shibazaki Toshie was born in 1969.
She had studied under NAGASAWA Setsu at the Setsu-Mode seminar for the last several years till he passed away.
Her latest illustrations were combined and published as a book "Kodoku na Wakusei" -A lonely planet- which won the 10th Shinpusha Outstanding Book Award.
A Japanese major magazine "anan" by Magazine House run her illustration essays on June 2002.
She is a single mother of a daughter.
Her friends describe her as "being just like Tamayo, a character of the Kiricomic."

★December 2001
Kiricomic had a private exhibition at Doujunkai apartment in Omotesando.
A weekly local newspaper "7" (run by the national wide newspaper Asahi-shimbun) run a piece of four-frame cartoons of gas range-mama, Tamayo.

★ April 2002
A quarterly trade journal "Chara-Depa" -Character Department- introduced Kiricomic's web site and character goods (e.g., stickers and figures) on its page.

★ May 2002
Kiricomic run a booth at the 15th Design Festival held at the Tokyo Big Cite.
Kiricomic issued the first Kiricomic News.
